“A library outranks any other one thing a community can do to benefit its people. It is a never failing spring in the desert.” –Andrew Carnegie
On October 12, 1917, with the assistance of a $10,000 donation from philanthropist, Andrew Carnegie, the Caldwell Public Library opened its doors. We invite you to our Centennial Gala at the Green Brook Country Club in North Caldwell on October 12, 2017.
Join your friends and neighbors for an elegant evening of dinner and dancing to celebrate the Caldwell Public Library’s rich history. We will be honoring two amazing women with awards in recognition of their support and dedication to the Caldwell Library and the Caldwell community:
Jane Kinkle, retired Grover Cleveland Middle School teacher
Karen Kleppe Lembo, former Library Director and retired NJ Deputy Attorney General
We hope to see you there.
