Computer and Internet Access Policy
The Caldwell Public Library provides computers, printers and a variety of software applications for use by library patrons.
Computer access for patrons is performed by using a library card and 4- digit PIN.
Individuals who do not possess a valid Caldwell Public Library card must request a guest pass.
Patrons are allowed up to three hours of computer use a day, if no other patrons are waiting.
Computers located by the main circulation desk are designated for use by patrons 18 years of age and older.
Computers located downstairs in the children’s area are designated for use by patrons under the age of 18.
Children under 18 must have parental consent to use the computers.
Children under the age of 7 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian
at all times while using the computers.
Computer use is contingent upon adherence to Caldwell Public Library’s Internet Use Policy.
Wireless Access – Patrons are permitted to use wireless devices in the library;
however printing services are not available for wireless users.
In addition, all library internet and computer policies apply to wireless users.

Copying and Printing Services
Printing is available from all computers for a fee: $0.10 per B&W page and $0.40 per color page.
All printing is done through the Envisionware workstation.
A B&W photocopier is available for public use at $0.10 per page.
An Epson scanner is available for free public use. It scans text and photos up to 8 1/2″ x 11″ in size.
Local History has a scanner for text and photos up to 11″x17″ in size.
The scanners will produce PDF, JPEG or TIFF documents that can be saved to your flash drive
or as attachments in your email account.

Flash drives are available for purchase at $5.00 each at the front circulation desk.
