The Caldwell Library offers the use of 6 Dell PCs in the adult area and 4 Dell PCs in the children’s area. Each computer has internet access and Microsoft Office 2013 software. Library cardholders may sign on with a library card number and PIN. Others may request a guest pass at the front desk.
Patrons are entitled to a maximum of 3 hours per day on the public computers. Each session is 60 minutes, with the option for 2 additional sessions should no one be waiting to use a computer.
An AWE Early Learning Station is available for children ages 2-6 in the children’s room. This computer is not connected to the internet or a printer, and is loaded with age appropriate educational games.
Each public PC is connected to a printer. Prints are $0.15 per page for black and white prints, and $0.50 per page for color prints. The Caldwell Library does not offer wireless printing.
Free WiFi is available all throughout the Caldwell Library and anyone may use it on their personal devices during library hours.
The public copy machine offers scan-to-email and scan-to-flash drive capabilities. There is no charge for this service.
A microfilm reader is available for use by appointment since it is located in a staff area. Please call 973.226.2837 to reserve the machine.
Color copy machine
A color copy machine is available for public use. Black and white copies are $0.15 per page and color copies are $0.50 per page. The machine accepts nickel, dime and quarter coins, $1 and $5 bills.
