Ted Talks and Ted-Ed Videos The TED-Ed project makes short video lessons aimed at educators and students.

CodeAcademy teaches programming and coding in online, free and interactive lessons.

Coursera has over 400 courses in more than 20 categories, created by 85 Universities from 16 countries. Their courses are available in 12 different languages.

Duolingo offers completely free language education.

EdX was created by Harvard and MIT and offers MOOCs (Massive Open Online Courses) and interactive online classes in law, history, science, engineering, business, social sciences, computer science, public health, and artificial intelligence.

MIT has their own MOOCs (Massive Open Online Courses) with more than 2,000 courses available.

Open Culture aggregates free courses and audio books found on the web and hosts them on the site.

Stanford has online and open courses which allow you to work at your own pace.

Webucator provides online, self-paced video courses for business skills, Office and Adobe applications as well as web development technologies (HTML5, CSS, Javascript, PHP), mobile web and app development, SQL, and XML. Library cardholders can take as many of these free classes as you choose, at your own pace. Complete the training on your computer or mobile device. HOW TO REGISTER: Contact the Caldwell Public Library at 973-226-2837 or to obtain the voucher code. The voucher allows for unlimited, simultaneous access to any of the Self Paced Courses for one year from your course registration date. Go to Webucator to register. You’ll need to provide your address, email and phone contact information. Select your class. At the billing form, choose ‘Webucator Vouchers’ as your method of payment and enter the library’s voucher code.
